This course is designed for business and economic Reporters (radio, television, newspapers, magazines, etc.), Communication Specialists, Corporate Communication Officers, Government and Media Officers
Business Reporting is a challenging enterprise, and the need is expanding to fine tune business reporting skills, especially in a country like Trinidad and Tobago with a robust economy and vibrant financial market. As the business environment develops, the need for accurate, fast information and news about the economy and financial markets in the region and in the wider global market becomes ever more pressing.
The minimum entry requirement for this course is a full A' Level certificate.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Collect and record economics, business and financial information for news stories
- Use numbers and data in economics and financial news
- Evaluate economics, business and financial issues
- Write news articles, features and/or broadcast scripts on economics, business and financial issues.
