Your primary responsibility is to provide quality teaching services to students in the Audio Production /Skills component of our Media Programme. This will include analog and digital audio recording techniques for radio and Television, analog and digital studio production and post production to produce a range of audio products.
Key Competencies
- Customer-focused, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient with Adobe Audition software (or Pro Tools) for recording, mixing and finishing audio products.
- Expertise in microphone selection and placement, mixing console operation, use of auxiliary audio equipment
- Knowledge of pre-production, production and post-production activities (treatment, scripting, recording, and editing)
- Ability to operate digital audio workstation.
- Self-motivated
Qualifications and Experience
- BSc, BA or Advanced Diploma with relevant training and experience
- At least three (3) years of significant audio production work
- Experience with multimedia applications (digital and analog), field and location audio recording; audio/sound post production for radio/film/TV
- Lecturing experience will be an asset as well as completion of a Train the Trainer programme
