The incumbent will be responsible for the provision of academic services for all our academic programmes. In this respect, this position will be responsible for the formulation and execution of academic timetables across all locations, which aim to satisfy the highest standards of effectiveness and efficiency.
The Assistant Manager will provide direct support to the Manager-Academic Operations in fulfilling the above.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The production and execution of all semester timetables.
- In conjunction with our Quality and Academic unit, as well as our Course Administration units, ensure that our academic services are delivered at the required level on a day-to-day basis.
- Co-ordinate the formulation of our Macro Academic schedule.
- Co-ordinate the delivery of our academic services with designated team members at all our campuses.
- Manage the team members that assist in operations and scheduling.
Qualifications/Experience:
- At least 3-5 years experience at a management or similar level with a proven track record of success.
- A good first degree preferably in Mathematics, Computing, Computer Science, IT, Engineering or Operations research.
- A graduate level designation or qualification (CIPS, ACCA, MBA, MSc.) would be an asset.
- Excellent project management and IT skills.
- A self-starter with great drive and a passion for EDUCATION.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a TEAM, comprising academics and operations staff.
- Detail-oriented and quality focused, with a passion for challenges and excellence.
