The School of Business and Computer Science (SBCS) was founded in 1986 and formally began operations on 13th February 1987. SBCS is an independent tertiary education center affiliated with a select set of UK and US international bodies and universities.

SBCS's vision is to play a pivotal role in the transformation of our country's human resource into its most valuable natural resource.

SBCS's mission is to efficiently and effectively deliver industry-relevant courses, in a customer-focused manner, using the best and most qualified staff, and courseware in world-class, technologically enabled training facilities

We are strategically located in Champs Fleurs for the east west corridor, close to the tranquil and scenic foothills of the northern range. Our second location on the outskirts of Port of Spain also makes us an ideal location for companies in the area.

SBCS prides itself on providing the idyllic and most operationally enabled environment required for the effective delivery of its services. The underlying philosophy of "quality service" permeates every department in our organization as we strive to deliver maximum customer satisfaction and academic excellence. Our institution is dedicated to providing the best training programmes, services and products which will assist individuals, and by extension corporations, in reaching their full potential.

Our Champs Fleurs institute includes several fully furnished and air-conditioned facilities, equipped with the lateset modern technology, over twenty-five (25) classrooms, study hall, library, bookstore, cafeteria, administration office, Corporate Education Centre, over nine (9) computer labs, Computer Based Testing Centre (CBT) for Microsoft Office Specialist, ACCA (CAT) and VUE (MCSE, A+, Network +, etc), car park facilities, etc. Our Port of Spain institute is also equipped with the latest modern technology, with one seminar room and five (5) computer labs.

On Board the SBCS academic staff, we have more than fifty-(50) qualified professionals, and over thirty (30) individuals on general staff from various departments who are always willing to assist at your convenience. SBCS staff remains instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the institution's reputation as a provider of quality tuition programmes over the past sixteen years. Our academic team includes numerous B.Sc., M.B.A., M.Sc., and PhD, graduates from some of the most world-renowned universities: University of London, University of the West Indies, City University, Manchester University, University of Ottawa, Washington University, MIT, University of Toronto, Saskatchewan University, Heriot-Watt University, Essex University, University of Greenwich, St. Mary's University, Ryerson University, East London University and Wales University to name a few.
