Fee Structure











The Government of Trinidad and Tobago has announced the implementation of a free tertiary education policy effective January 2006. This policy funds tuition only and therefore the cost of books and study school must be borne by the student. The current cost for each level of the programme are as follows:

Introductory Level:

Papers T1, T2 Payable to SBCS Books ($350 X 2) $ 700.00
Examination Fee ($425 X 2) $ 850.00
Total $ 1,550.00

Intermediate Level:

Papers T3, T4 Payable to SBCS Books ($350 X 2) $ 700.00
Examination Fee ($425 X 2) $ 850.00

Advanced Level: Papers T5 - T10

Payable to SBCS Books ($350 X 5) $ 1,750.00
Examination Fee (£37 X 5) $ 2,220.00

COSTING FOR THE CAT PROGRAMME (FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS)

The Tuition and examination costs of the Introductory, Intermediate & Advanced Levels of the CAT programme are as follows:

Procedure when making Payments to ACCA

A student can pay either by a sterling (£) bank draft payable on a UK Bank or by credit card via the ACCA web site. All sterling bank drafts must be made payable to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Any local Fees to ICATT is usually paid by cash.

Please note the following:

1. There is an administrative fee of $250.00 payable to SBCS on registration at the start of each semester. Upon registration with SBCS Ltd. students MUST present their passport as an identification document. Once the entry requirements are met a letter of provisional acceptance can be forwarded to the Immigration Department (letters of enrolment are forwarded to the Immigration Department ONLY after the full payment of fees has been received). Once students have been issued with the Student Permit a copy must be submitted to General Administration, as a copy must be kept on their file.

2. Initial Registration Fees are payable to ACCA and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago (ICATT) in the sum of £55 ($715.00) and $100.00 respectively. Fees to ICATT are necessary once a student wishes to sit examinations in Trinidad & Tobago.

Every January, following the date of registration, Annual Subscriptions become due and are payable to ACCA and ICATT in the sum of £55 ($715.00) and $100.00 respectively, no later than 31 st January of each year. Fees to ICATT are necessary once a student wishes to sit examinations in Trinidad & Tobago.

* PLEASE NOTE:

Students who were registered previously with ACCA/ICATT, as either of the following: CAT, ACCA – mature or professional route, MUST inform SBCS (the ACCA Department) of their registration status with ACCA/ICATT on or before registering with SBCS Ltd.

3. The rate of conversion has been assumed as: £1.00 to TT$ 13.00.
