PGD Banking
This Diploma enables people with specialised skills to develop an understanding of a broader range of subjects involved in modern banking.
The Diploma is especially valuable for people holding a professional qualification
(including a qualification in accounting, finance or related professions) who are employed in banks or other financial firms
Entry Requirements
You should either have a recognised professional qualification (accounting, banking, CFA or related professional qualifications) or a first degree in economics, business administration, accounting or related discipline, as well three years relevant work experience.
Programme Content
You will choose four (4) courses:
- Bank Financial Management
- Financial Law
- Risk Management: Principles and Applications
- Corporate Finance
- Law and Regulation or Electronic Finance and Internet Banking
- Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets

Duration Of Programme
A minimum of one year; maximum registration of five years
Assessments
Each course is assessed by:
- Two assignments
- A three hour examination held in the October examination period
Each assignment consists of compulsory questions or an essay-based topic, which should be answered in no more than 2500 words. Assignments and examinations are weighted 30:70
